Happy Friday! I had a productive week of simming, I can't wait for you all to see. It's also been raining most of the week, so I've been in my cozy hermit element. I finished 5/6 of the apartment renovations, the only one I have left is the penthouse. I'll give a glimpse into Byron's, but I didn't go into as much depth with the others since we won't see them as much. The weather has me craving ca phe sua da with sea salt cream from a coffee shop a few miles away, so I'm debating on whether to go. Enjoy your weekends wherever they lead you, here's a build a like, happy simming!

Okokokok. Ca phe sua da is Vietnamese iced coffee (would love to try). And then daddy is just a pun.
But how did it start :D always so hard to find out with tiktok.
Usually know your meme is helpful but not often with tiktok stuff.
Can someone explain to my old white ass cà phê sữa daddy?
Seems to be from tiktok. And cà phê means coffee in Vietnamese. I think. And the rest is sugar daddy I guess. So my take is it's a different way of saying sugar daddy? But does anyone know how that came to be?

Happy Friday!
Okay. I am at home not at a cafe. I have my first official day at the new job this afternoon. As you can see on my very optimistic sticky note, I have been unfocused this week. But not completely unproductive! I've got about 4k in that Milo/Darlin fic I'll share soon, posted that mini fic about Porter&Vincent, and I'm sitting on EJ's birthday Dasher fic!
Drinking ca phe sua da and trying to decide what to work on until my shift starts...
On the own work front, a steamy update for Don't Run is coming out later today and then we're back into Bite to Bruise for next month!
Hope you're doing well and have a lovely weekend! <3 <3

Coffee and how we use it around the world
Tumblr media
Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world, and its consumption is steeped in cultural traditions. From the bustling streets of New York City to the serene countryside of Japan, coffee is enjoyed in many different ways around the globe. Here are some of the most unique and interesting ways that people drink coffee in different parts of the world.
Italy: Espresso
When it comes to coffee culture, Italy is the undisputed king. Italians take their coffee seriously, and for them, it's all about the espresso. An espresso is a small, concentrated shot of coffee that's brewed under high pressure. It's the foundation of many Italian coffee drinks, such as cappuccinos and lattes.
Tumblr media
Turkey: Turkish Coffee
In Turkey, coffee is a social experience that's steeped in history and tradition. Turkish coffee is made by boiling finely ground coffee beans with water and sugar. The result is a thick, strong brew that's served in small cups. The coffee is often accompanied by a piece of Turkish delight, a type of candy made from starch and sugar.
Tumblr media
Ethiopia: Coffee Ceremony
Ethiopia is widely considered to be the birthplace of coffee, and the country's coffee ceremony is an integral part of its culture. The ceremony is a ritualistic process that involves roasting, grinding, and brewing coffee in front of guests. The coffee is served in small cups and is often accompanied by popcorn or other snacks.
Tumblr media
Vietnam: Ca Phe Sua Da
Ca Phe Sua Da is a Vietnamese coffee drink that's made with sweetened condensed milk and brewed coffee. The coffee is poured over the milk and ice, resulting in a creamy, sweet and refreshing drink. It's often enjoyed as a midday pick-me-up in Vietnam.
Sweden: Fika
In Sweden, the daily coffee break is a cherished tradition known as Fika. Fika is a time to unwind and catch up with friends over a cup of coffee and a sweet treat, like a cinnamon roll or a pastry. It's a key part of Swedish culture, and many workplaces have designated Fika breaks during the day.
Tumblr media
Morocco: Moroccan Mint Tea
While not technically coffee, Moroccan mint tea is a popular beverage in Morocco that's served alongside traditional Arabic coffee. The tea is made by steeping green tea leaves with fresh mint and sugar. It's often served in a decorative teapot and poured into small glasses.
These are just a few examples of the different ways that people enjoy coffee around the world. From the strong, concentrated shots of espresso in Italy to the sweet, creamy Ca Phe Sua Da in Vietnam, coffee is a versatile beverage that can be enjoyed in many different forms. So the next time you're sipping on your favourite cup of coffee, take a moment to appreciate the cultural traditions that have shaped this beloved drink.
